I have to work the day shift on Christmas, but you can bet I'll be daydreaming about warmer days camping with all our NorEaster friends. What is everyone else doing. Come on give me some fuel for my daydreams while I keep the lights on at the powerhouse. Merry Christmas!!!!

We're going up North to visit the skating pond up at Camp T. We'll be heading north on the 22nd and coming back on the 26th I guess. We'll be in MA & CT for that time just to visit our friends and family.

I was unpacking some stuff today and I found my long sleeve flannel shirts and my Thinsulate hiking boots. I think we're gonna need them.

I wish we could stay longer to meet up with you guys but we have to get back home on the 27th. The Navy is putting into port on the 28th and we have to be there to take in the lines and help tie up the ship.

Last year around this time the weather was super, I hope we get a spell of warmer weather down here like we had but I am thankful there's no or hardly ever any snow.

We'll have the family here both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I'll have food spread out all over. I love when Christmas falls on Sunday..it's so much more special! We'll have Christmas in Ireland, via the digcam this year, as my son and his wife celebrate their first Christmas in their new home (if anyone wants to see pics of an Irish home being built from start to finish, just let me know!)
So happy Tom, that you are healthy again and here for Christmas So sorry you couldn't be home to really enjoy it.

We'll be spending it at either our daughter's or son's house. Or maybe both, thank goodness they live nearby. I will have the MH pulled out for loading and other preparations. On the 26th fuel and water are put on board and all last minute preparations are made for getting underway. On the 27th the Captain's gig is made fast and the crew is mustered and the special sea detail is set. At 0900 all lines are taken in and we are underway in transit for sunny Florida. We expect to layover a Camp P, and visit with dear friends on the 28th..

Having been born and raised in southern Connecticut, we never had many White Christmas'.

As a payback for those grey bleak days of the Yuletide season of my youth....I am going X-C skiing on the 25th.and be a kid again. (True my X-C season began Nov. 27, but skiing on Christmas Day is special).

I'll be calling you, our best friends. To wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New year. Good health for the coming years. Ask you when you are coming to Fla. and tell you I will call you often. Give my GRAND Baby's hugs and kisses, and tell them I will see them in Fla. Wipe the tears from my eyes, Drag Nancy away from the Boy's and head for warm weather. Vet Man

Well I won't be taking the RV, but on Christmas Day my father and I are flying out to Europe (Latvia) for the holiday week and returning the day after New Years. I have not been to my parents homeland country in over 10 years. I am sure I will be in for a surprise to see how much the counrty has changed since it has become independent and been rebuilding over the years. I have a friend in town visiting folks that will stay at my place and watch over my pets, so it all works out.

HO! HO! HO!
We will be home with both our daughters home for the holidays. We will cook up a big feast and just relax. It will be wonderful to have them both home for a week.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all our Nor'Easter family!
