Hey you Nor'Easters, it's so quiet in here, I'm wondering where you all are. I hope camping in some beautiful place. The daugher's wedding is now behind us and we can get to camping. We will be at River's Bend from 8/3 to 8/11! WooHoo! Hope to do some more last minute camping IF we can find a campsite! Tried last weekend to no avail. Maybe this weekend, we'll see.

We're heading for Shadow Brook campground outside of Cooperstown Thursday, and will be at the induction ceremony on Sunday. The following Wednesday we hope to go to Deer Run for a couple of nights. The grands want to see what it's like in the warm weather with the pools, and we thought we would take them on the night time tubing run by Lake George and maybe a night at the races.

We're headed to http://www.lakesidecampground.com/ on Thursday through Sunday with Brett and Andrea "LucegGoose". The forecast looks a little wet but who cares, they have a large private lake, no fishing license required, full of fish.
Anyone around come on down!

If you go through Cooperstown, give us a call, and perhaps we can meet for dinner or lunch. We'll be in the area Thur - Monday. Just don't come through the actual Cooperstown..it will be a tad busy LOL.
Hey, were you guys/or Brett planning on a non rally at Association Island this summer, or maybe Turning Stone?

Al, good for you! Sounds like camping to me..without having to drive anywhere. If we had the same set up, I think we too, would park ourselves.

We're heading home tomorrow. Been on the road for almost two weeks. Went to Cleavland, Luray VA., Lancaster PA. and we're overniting in New Paltz NY. Back to work Saturday but this has been a great trip with my Bride.

I did, I did..I've got some time in August. I prefer weekdays (I think their new weekend rates are very high), but I know the people still working would prob prefer a weekend, and they have more going on for kids on weekends. Someone want to pick a date? I'll start: Anytime August 15 - 27th is good for me at this time.Deer Run is also a nice campground..with very nice sites and pools, and close to the race track and the racino.

Hi All,

I am not much of a gambler, but whats a "racino" Is it just a casino at the race track?
