York PA to Clarion PA - route?

Folks: I need to get my rig to Clarion, PA, to visit my in-laws. I am in York PA now (after driving from Tucson). I know the usual route on 322 as I did it for years, but I am worried about the two-lanes and winding road around State College. Should I go up the 15 instead? Looks to be a longer drive, but perhaps faster/better in a 35 foot gaser?

Travel through there alot myself for business and personal.
Pickup or 42 DP (now a 26 WGO)
I like 322/22 around State College then I220 to I80 but being
summer unsure about construction delays, Then again in PA
that's a crap shoot no matter what.
My alternative is 15 to I80. Beautiful along the river there as well.
While longer on mileage you don't seem to have as many large grades
to pull.

Thanks Mark. My wife used to be at Penn State and I made that run many times myself. But, it has been a while. As I recall, there was a lot of single lane areas, but my memory is not what it used to be. I get nervous with my rig being under powered and I am pulling a toad... will think about it a bit more, I got another week. Thanks again
