Folks: as the big sign says when you enter Maine on the only Interstate hwy. in Maine I-95 WELCOME TO MAINE THE WAY LIFE SHOULD BE. Truly, it is all soooo beautiful up here. I have traveled millions of miles and it is always so nice the see that sign once again. You will LOVE it. I promise. Peter in Maine.

Sunset Pt. campground in Harrington, Me. is a favorite of ours. Only about 30 spaces, and very quiet. The owner will cook and deliver to your door lobster. Last time we were there he was charging $7 lb.. Needless to say we certainly had our fill of Lobstah.

For sure one of the best. I hope we can get in again this year, after Labor Day

Well after making reservations, my DW went and cracked her ankle at a CG. And that ankle - for the third time. At least nothing but an air cast but she is still hobbling around albeit a lot slower then normal. Oh well, there is always next year

August of 2019 we will celebrate our 50th year of marriage. We Honeymooned on the coast of ME near BH. We went up on top of Cadillac mountain to watch the annual meteor shower that occurs every August 9th. It was our wedding night and she had no idea why we were taking that short trip on that night. We still laugh about that!! Well I laugh.

The DW is from Dover Foxcroft, ME and we vacationed in that area for many of the last 49 years almost every summer.

We met (1967) when I was stationed at Charleston AFB, ME (It was a Radar sight but now closed). I was stationed there for 3 years. I skied, fished, hiked, visited and camped many places.

We'll be heading back to the coast next Summer for about 6 weeks. She will attend her RN 50 year reunion.
