We spent a few days in October at James Island County Park campground and found that we needed more time to see the area. Therefore we have reserved site #113 for April 18th thru the 25th for our next excursion to Charleston. Some friends of ours have reserved site #111 for most of the same time period.

Anyone interested in stopping by for a few days might want to make reservations soon as the park is popular in April. If your plans change between now and then the park accepts cancelations up to 6pm on the day prior to your arrival.

After our stay in Charleston SC back in December, Linda and I decided to go back to the James Island County Park this April. We were really looking forward to going and enjoying everyones company. But alas, we will not be able to make the trip and have to cancel.

I think this is the first time we have had to cancel a trip. A combination of events have lead to this: a leak in the roof of our home ($), a sick cat ($$), and the pending wedding of our son on April 9th ($).

So, while we are not happy about it, we have to bow out of the trip. We hope that we can can get together down the road.

Thanks.

Our plans have changed so we have canceled also.
This may be a good stop on the way to or returning from the 2011 National rally?
