Christmas 2008 Rally

OK Cooters. Only eight days 'til the Christmas rally . Don't forget to bring your PJs for the Saturday night potluck and auction! If you don't wear PJs, please go buy some as we may want to come back to this campground again . And be sure each person that wants to participate in the Chinese auction brings a gift (see my previous post about that).

If the weather's decent on Thursday, we were thinking about early arrivals doing a cookout (bring your own stuff). If it's not decent, we can always do what we do best, go out to eat!

We I've got the time off, and if Starr feels mobile enough we will be there. Might come in Thursday afternoon. We'll make reservations likely this week...

We're coming down the greenway from Oviedo. Mapquest is telling me to take John Young all the way down. Is this best?

All the pull thrus are taken, so we'll be in N15 up in the corner.

We had a great XMAS Rally good to see old friends again great fellowship and the food was excellent we made it home ok called the repair shop will put the motorhome in tomorrow for repair just maybe will have it back for NEW YEARS trip.We sure missed the ones that couldn't make it you missed a good one maybe next year.

I think everyone had a good time at the Christmas rally. Merry D RV is a hidden jewel in my opinion.

We went on to Fort Wilderness after the rally. We were given the best site we ever had in the 700 loop. Watched the Magic Kingdom fireworks one night from a horse drawn wagon along the lake front. The next night we watched the show from the boat that runs from the campground to Magic Kingdom. Weather was great the whole time.

I agree- Merry D is a very nice campground! We all had a great time at the christmas rally-glad to see all that showed up together. Happy to hear you had a GOOD SITE at disney-How about all the decorations?? Great. We spent December 22-28th at disney then onto 3 LakesRV Resort in Hudson until 1/02/09. Very nice park and frienly people. Had a great time bringing in the new years! Want to wish you and all the FLORIDA COOTERS a very happy and safe new years
