For those who have been following the development of the Cooter Clan ( a most noble fraternal designation within the Florida Boomers ) I have below listed the current membership and offical fraternal names.

1. Dave and Joann - Byrtle
2. Jim and MJ - Zyrtle
3. Rick and Cheryl - Eyrtle
4. Jon and Sharon - Myrtle (if you have to ask, You won't understand)
5. Jim and Carolyn - Fyrtle
6. Tom and Dee - Dyrtle
7. Bill and Jan - Gyrtle
8. Joe and Linda - Jyrtle (Neophytes to be made full member 10/26/07)
9.

The Florida Boomers look forward to bestowing our honorary designation on more member in the near future.

Does this mean we should think about retiring the pink bird mascot and replacing it with a..umm.. green cooter??

Great idea for a rally. The elegant Pink Flamingo will always reign as the official mascot of the Florida Boomers. The Cooter Clan is a family within the organization. We hope to see the Boomer Nation continue to grow under the guidance of the all powerful Pink Bird.

Rick,
I think this calls for a rally. We just need to find a place to park the rigs.
