It sounds like snipe hunting to me! Anyone a former boy scout should remember what that is.

We will likely visit everyone when they're at Rock Crusher but not bring the rig. Jo Ann had her back surgery yesterday and camping activity will be restricted for awhile. But we have our cooter sticks at the ready!

According to the Cooter website, most activities on Saturday are from 10 am to 6 p.m. at Liberty Park and nearby Wallace Brooks Park. The address of Liberty Park is 286 or 300 North Apopka Avenue, Inverness. Your navigation system or Mapquest will likely route you north on North Apopka. On your left as you approach the park, you will see a large red caboose. Turn left onto the unmarked paved road immediately before the caboose. Follow this road past the caboose and a bike shop. The pavement ends at a large field. Lots of free parking there. Do not turn after the caboose as you will end up on the Withlacoochee State Trail and people take a dim view of folks driving on the trail. Once parked, it is a short walk down the trail to the park.

Dave,

Our prayers are with JoAnn for a speedy recovery.

We have heard that if the surgery point is gently touched by fellow cooters with sticks that the healing power is tremendous. Seriously, we would all love to see you both.

On the news last night, they showed a 2-headed cooter living in one shell. It is housed in museum in Montgomery Co. in SE Pennsylvania. We may have to go and see it when we're in PA for Thanksgiving. (I'm hoping that is NOT what happens when 2 human cooters live together too long.)

Cheryl
