OK Cooters, I just got on the reservations page and booked July 27,28,29 and leaving the 30th. There are a number of campsites available, so why not book one and join us for some fun before the summer is gone. Reservations can be made at www.pinellascounty.org/park/05_ft_desoto.htm

We sold our Ford class C last Saturday so we are without a camper.
Our old Toyota 21' will be back into our possesion after the 28th of Aug. Marty loves this little camper because it gets 18 mpg. It does get us from point A to point B very cheaply and so this may be what takes us to the Cooter festival in the fall?

Glad to see at least one other Cooter couple available. Please note as revised dates due to Rick's doctor appointment.

We are cancelling this trip to Ft. DeSoto at this time and taking the credit for later. We are in PA until late Tues. 7/29--Cheryl's mother is very ill. We knew that we would never forgive ourselves if we couldn't see her at least 1 more time.

We hope to be back on Tues. night unless things get worse. We hope that the health dark cloud over us Boomers/Cooters and our families will soon lift off.

Let's continue to live our lives, having fun, with our camping experiences, fellowship, and fun. Oh, and good food too! Take care and God bless.

Starr fell a week ago and suffered a tibia - fibula fracture at the ankle. She had surgery Tuesday and is at a rehab facility now, doing well.
With 6-8 weeks non weight bearing ahead of us, we're not planning any outings before the end of September...
