I have to do a delivery to Pompano Beach tomorrow. Route looks like I need to hit I-95 in Jax and head south. What kind of traffic will I get in general and how is the roadway? Is this the fastest way there? Don't mind a little further to make the trip faster.
Anything to be aware of?
Leaving very early so quick answers greatly appreciated.
Oh yeah, 550 Ford Rollback (loaded)

There is no real problems with I-95. There is construction going on in the Melbourne area expanding the road to 6 lanes from 4. No delays, except possibly rush hour....

Thanks edj, the route info was spot on. Decided to come back up the Turnpike due to traffic issues when I got unloaded a 5PM the rush hour on 95 north was almost gridlock.
Left a very happy snow bird lady from Long Island,New York with a very nice and beautiful BMW

The stretch from Boca south to Pompano...
will take as long as the stretch from J'ville south to Boca
(or maybe it just seems that way?)
