Where are the Florida Boomers hanging their hats these days? I read on the other board that everyone was vacating this board to setup housekeeping on another board. I happened to log on to this by habit and notice some announcing the Florida Boomers were back..... What gives?

I posted this on the other site as well......

Hi JIM I think some of us are in the boat with you but hang in there .They are working them selves out.
Like Ralph said the Boomers started here and I think most of us are still here.
We just had the Boat Rocked a little but I think the waters are calming down and hopefully smooth sailing ahead.

I agree with islander. We will probably be posting on both sites. There certainly is a good faith effort to make things work here and that should not go unnoticed.

I sure hope I did not start a pi**ing contest. I just read the other site and some of the responses I think were out of line and way off topic. I do not care to get into the middle of it either. Too much info.... I only wanted to know where to throw my hat in. I just add another site to my favorite links and read both areas. It is not a big deal. How well I know that life is too short to allow time for bickering. Enough said.......

Great post Jim.....That's ALL I was trying to say was that we COULD co-exist and support each other...

We're moving on as it's much more fun to talk about camping....

Wondered if any of you are ever near Jupiter/Juno Beach?

I've rented a place in Juno Beach for the season and will spend an awful lot of time down there, but won't necessarily be there every day....Son is in school at Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach...

Yes our daughter lives in Port St Lucie just north of Jupiter.

You know it's warmer down here in the winter! It gets quite cool up north in central FL during the winter. I'll bet it gets down into the low 40's.

Although my son is at Embry-Riddle, my brother owns a house in Jupiter and we both had been to Juno Beach RV before he sold his Journey and bought the house...I really like Juno Beach and the surrounding area, guess it's what you're used to...

Will most likely make the visits to see my son as "weekenders" as he'll be in school during the week.

Look forward to seeing some of you at some time, although I know I'll be trekking over to the west coast at some point to see Lug Nut from the Newmar forum...We both got new coaches this year.

Glad to have all the FL Boomers here. Bob worked hard to come up with a way to give you a separate area for post and still let us realign the regions to a common format.

Hi everyone! First, I want to say that Ralphie would be thrilled that you're all still here!! And also thrilled that I found my way back. A lot of things have kept me away, but mainly my darn computer had it's IP address changed or something like that (?) with all the people using it during August. I couldn't log on even with a new password. Anyway, here I am. I want to thank you all for all your kind words, flowers (they were beautiful), cards, and gift to the American Cancer Society. I especially want to thank Jim and Carol and Rick and Cheryl for making the trek to Ralph's funeral. Even though I was pretty out of it those days, I do remember seeing you guys! I am still feeling lost and incredibly sad to have lost my very best friend, but I know that God will see my through. A few of you have told me that you want to have a Ralphie memorial rally. I have looked into one campground in Ocala, but the rates are way too high. If anyone can think of a place and time, I think it's a great idea. I just need a place that would have a cabin for me to stay in. Love to you all here in Florida and around the country.

Hi Vectrola!!! I'm here...are you? Let's see...we can talk about the weather...how beautiful it's been....we can talk about politics....nah, let's not. We can talk about all the fun we had camping together. We sure did have fun, didn't we. Ralph would set up some chairs early in the morning at our campsite and he would say "set up the chairs and they will come".
