Hi All,
I will be spending the winter (Oct. 2009 thru May 2010) in the Silver Springs Area, and I was wondering if there are any rallies yet planed in that area ? I will keep my eyes on this area as time goes on! Have a nice summer !!!

Gosh, Al. You're asking the Cooters. Advance planning isn't something the Cooters are inclined toward. Now if we were the Hares, that would be different. But we're Cooters, you know, Tortoises. Slow and steady. Not rushing into anything. Taking our time. Actually, at the moment, also rather clueless.
We're heading for the National rally next week and then on to other points. Then in the fall we head out to the balloon festival in Albuquerque. Keep an eye on the forum and maybe someone else will be getting something going. If nothing else, maybe we can have another get-together on fajita night at Cody's in Crystal River.

Al, if you find a rally or whatever this winter, Ms Carol will come south and join you guys. The older I get the more the heat and cold bothers me .
It would be great to get someplace warm. See you in October?

Food? You mean irv2'ers actually eat when they get together ?
It is getting cold very early here in N Ga. - freeze warnings in some parts. Should be warming up a bit in the next couple of days. We will indeed be heading south sometime after Christmas. Our wedding anniversary is Feb 4 so we try to get away for a few days then. We'll see about getting out a little earlier and maybe check out Al's area as well as Southern Oaks.
Seems the older I get, the colder I get as well.

Cold? It was in the high 20's here this morning and there was snow at higher elevations. Fortunately we were below the snow line but it's suppose to get cold again tonight. Brrrrrrrrrrr!!
I drained all the water out of the fifth wheel and opened the low point drains, was wanting to go on one more camp out before winterizing but I think I'll add the pink stuff tomorrow and forget about camping for a while. We still want to get down to FL sometime this winter to see grand kids, daughter and SIL.
