Need Florida Panhandle Camground Info

I am looking for suggestions for campgrounds west of Henderson Beach State Park that are near the beach and on the same level as Henderson and Topsail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you familier with Camping on the Gulf? It is a private CG, not a State Park. It is on the beach, next to Destin, FL. It is clean and very well maintained. When we go, we stay at the rear of the CG (farthest from the beach). The sites are quite large with full 50 amp hookups and some have concrete pads. These sites cost less than the beach sites. The beach sites are also much smaller. The sites directly on the beach have no sewer.

First class rv resort ... great people and staff. Only 'problem' is beach is down and across the street, 10 minute walk but otherwise a really nice rv park

"West" of Henderson SP, right... Nothing on the same level. Going toward Gulf Breeze and Pensacola there is one CG at Navarre which is on the Intercostal--small sites and a little crowded.

I'm from the Pensacola area and the only decent camping is military campgrounds. Even the Big Lagoon SP in Pensacola is only marginal since hurricane Ivan.

On this part of the Gulf nothing is better than Henderson for the money.

This is a very nice CG but it is EAST of Destin. And right down the street is St. Andrews SP which is excellent.
