The Florida Boomer group is adopting a new mascot, the Florida Cooter (a turtle for those who may be wondering). At the same time our name is changing to the Florida Boomer Cooter Clan. With our new name and mascot, we leave the pink flamingo to the care of the Texas Boomers. Our new cooter logo will appear soon.

We do this as the Florida Boomer Cooters revitalize a long standing camping tradition. The rules haven't changed; there aren't any, except for the no black socks with sandals thing. Anybody who likes to RV is welcome to join us. Rallies are sometimes planned, sometimes impromptu, always fun. Just check this forum to see what's being planned.

If you've been lurking on this forum and have been hesitant to join in, now's the time to check us out. If you've camped with us before and haven't in a while, now's the time to come on back. Our next rallies are at the Florida Folk Festival in November, our Christmas rally in December, the New Years rally, and the Florida Super Show Rally in January. Information on each one can be found under separate topics.

To any Florida Boomers who were not at the Cooter Clan rally this weekend and have any questions, please send Rick (Kissimmee Kids) or me (Half Dimes) a PM and we'll be happy to respond.

Dave

Well, no disrespect meant, but since there are no rules, we would much prefer to go with a bird of prey...
