Tampa South April 1 - 6

On March 30 we are heading to W P Franklin Corps of Engineer Park ( Facility Details - Recreation.gov, W.P. Franklin N (FL) - Recreation.gov ) for two days before heading north to Tampa South ( Welcome To Tampa South RV Resort! ) on April 1 for five nights to meet friends, Dee and Frank, before they leave Florida for points north. This is a Passport America Park with a $22.50 per night rate.

When we leave Tampa South on April 6, we are going to Lake Manatee State Park, site 10, ( Welcome to Florida State Parks )for two days where we will visit Solomon's Castle http://www.solomonscastle.org/ for lunch on Thursday.

On Friday, April 8, we will head to Highland Hammock, site 89, ( Welcome to Florida State Parks ) in Sebring for three nights before heading back to south Florida.

Now that some of the rates have gone down after "the season" and sites are available at state parks, we wanted to take advantage of the great weather before we hit the summer heat. Who wants to join us??
