**From the Appalachian Camper - Fall Rally thread**
(question in regards to meal plans from the 'leader')
Leader??? The way you become a leader is find a group of people headed some place and then run and get in front of them.
Seriously, when we first started talking about this thing, there seemed to be feelings of no theme type meals. I really don't have any ideas one way or the other.
Carol (and I) have figured on doing sausage gravy and biscuits one morning for breakfast. We have a large crockpot and a smaller one as well. Ought to make enough gravy for a pretty good sized group. Biscuits may have to be of the tube type, not sure we have the space to really make the scratch kind, although we are still discussing that. What morning would you like to do this?
Whomever has the big coffee pot, could you bring it?
Why don't you guys figure out a meal schedule. remember there is the famous Dillard House just down the road if any of ya'll get really hungry. They cook it, set it on the table in bowls and you just help yourself like at home. Ole Henry Dillard started this place many years ago and it is still going strong the last time we ate there.
Am glad to see we have some of the Florida Cooter group are heading up to be with us. These guys are a lot of fun and have slowed down in the past couple of years. Maybe this will re-invigorate them. They have a great group and it is a shame if they let it dry up. We are looking forward to attending some rallies with them in the future.
We are really looking forward to having as many of the Cooters (I stll think of you as the Boomers - but that is another subject) join us as you can. We are hoping the weather will be clear and cool. If it is hot, the pool is cool - if it is chilly, the heated pool is war, along with the fireplace.
