Can't hardly wait for spring...

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am so ready for spring and camping season. This winter has been a mild one for NW Ohio, so far, and it just makes me want to head out and camp. We have a TT that stays on a seasonal lot year round, and the campground open April 27, for the season...woo hoo. I am also looking forward to taking trips in our "new" to us Motorhome, we have only drove it from the dealer to home, about 50 miles, then parked it in the driveway. So much to look forward to.

We are up in eastern Canada. Have only had a total of 6 inches of snow all winter in our area. Had bare ground until 10 days ago. They say we are going to have an early spring. I do hope so. I can hardly wait to get the RV dewinterized and get going for the season. Most of our campgrounds open
May 1st. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas. Hurry up Santa.

Ready for spring

I know what you mean,we just purchased our first motorhome a few weeks ago and have done some minor repairs on it and can't wait to take it out on a trip.I think our first trip will be from NC to GA to visit our new grand daughter in march. We purchased a 2002 fleetwood pace arrow 37A with 29K miles on it,it is in very good condition.

Driving to work today sure got the thoughts of camping season going. It's been a very unusual February. Bright sunshine and and mid-40's out right now. I'm hoping the groundhog was wrong and Spring is right around the corner.

The first officially booked weekend camping is April 13-15, but if the weather stays like this, I may de-winterize early and get out a weekend or two before then.

Spring is sprung - The grass is ris I HOPE

It has been raining the last two days and the snow is basically gone. See, I don't live in the "Frozen North" Went in the RV and started making my spring project list. I guess the groundhog got it right.

Counting the days too..I made all my week long reservations in Jan. now filling in the gaps....

Sold my RV last Friday and watched it roll down the driveway for the last time...

I'll be RV-less till I take delivery on my new tt.

Was looking at weight distribution hitches today.

West Branch will have their Grassman / Bigfoot Festival May 18-19

Sure doesn't seem like spring today... Can't get here soon enough for me....This "winter" has been one big tease!
But tomorrow is supposed to be nicer and it IS SUPPOSED to warm through the week....
I think (if it warms as they say it will) I'll just go for a ride in the new coach to make sure it's exercised for our first trip in April.
It looks so sad sitting next to the house today covered in snow....Must be a culture shock coming from Alabama to Ohio!

Do they use salt when it snows on your areas?

I too am antsy, but this year more than ever. You see, the wife and I are retiring and starting our full time dream in June. I would always have the feeling of dread when at the end of a great trip I would have to point the motorhome towards home. I have always enjoyed being in the motorhome more than being at home.

But soon when I leave a campsite, it will be in search of another! What great adventures lay ahead. I wish all the best in travels this coming season. Maybe we will meet on the road.
