Was reading this story, and remember how mild it was last winter, thinking we should be camping...

Maybe this year...hummm

Mild winter expected for much of nation

Weather (Whether) or not, it goes underground. I only lease my outdoor storage space through the end of October and parking is prohibited in front of our house from November through March so I have no place to park it.

So, until next year...

The mild winter is encouraging. I'm planning on holding off at least until the end of October before storing the rig. If November looks good, I might even keep it until then.

Ya never know when a road trip could happen.

If the weather holds we would like to get out in November also. Then it is off to the mine.

I hope you Pond Piggies get the chance to play one more weekend, I'm headed out on Sunday afternoon to the dealer in Wilmington for a couple of days and then headed to Texas til the end of the month...I've been ordered to return home after that trip, but at some point the BBT will go to Juno Beach,FL for the winter...

It was fun camping with you guys and I look forward to some outings with you when your snow melts.

We're staying at home this weekend and next weekend as well. Unsure yet about the following weekend as we were thinking the local trick-or-treat for kids would be over the weekened. Turns out that it's mid-week so possibly we could go camping.

With the turn of cold weather though, that's doubtful. I may just go out and winterize the rig if the weather is still going to be in the 30's for lows all week.

It's possible that next weekend will be our last one. It sucks to think about the up-coming
winter.

We're leaving for the Georgia mountains this Friday, staying at the Bald Mountain Campground near Hiawassee for the weekend. It's about 2 hours NE of Atlanta. The fall colors should be great and their's a Sorgum Festival at Blairsville.

Going down to Salt Fork St. Pk. for the weekend of the 27th. Hopefully we'll get a chance to check out the Titaniums @ Stoney's in Cambridge. I really need to have a look at those things....

Nothing this month. Holding out for the first couple weeks of Nov, but not so sure with the way the weather has been going lately.

woodburner- We were really impressed by the Titaniums. Excellent use of space, nice interior appointments & DH really liked the aerodynamic nose. Saw one at the Columbus RV show in March & we were down to deciding on either the 32E37DSD or the 34E39QS when we started figuring out that a new 5-r would require us to have a new truck. The combo of a new truck & 5-r put us in the price range of a decent motorhome. Since we really didn't want a huge truck anymore, the motorhome was next for us. Had we still been in the truck phase, we woulda had a Titanium & bought it from Stoney's.

Keep us posted on what you find.

Boy this weather really stinks! Gonna watch closely; will tow if there's no snow on the roads but seems we get rain at least once every trip so it's gonna be close....Salt Fork is having worse weather then we are!
I like the the Titanium QS but plan on only looking. No purchase this trip; If I was going to it would be an 07. And Stoney's doesn't have any. There are several Michigan dealers that do and there are some big changes in the layout.
I'll keep yas posted.
