Hello from Michigan

I don't have any camping friends here in Michigan and I thought maybe someone here was from my area. We would love to meet other campers with kids to hang out with. Our kids are 13,11 and 6.</span>

Shannon, this is a sub category of the Pond Piggies and not very much used....

You might post out under the North Central area to get a better response...

Sorry, just seeing your post. I am assuming the pond piggies didn't jump in since it sounded like you where looking for someone in your neck of the woods and the piggies are mainly located in the easter part of Ohio and western Pa.

But don't let that stop ya from running over to one of our outings. Absolutely all are welcome. We don't head west very often but we did do Put-in-Bay a few years ago.

Another option is to get a group of your own started. I know I have seen a ton of Michigan members on the site. The only rule is to just have fun!

Sorry I too missed you posting in here. We don't often post within the sub-category so we certainly wern't ignoring you, but just didn't see ya here.

In any case, I hope if you ever venture down towards the Pennsylvania/Ohio area that you let us know as we'er always looking for new friends to camp with.

A couple years ago, a small group of us toured the MI UP and had a great time. We've been talking about doing another trip up toward that area again in coming years.
