I went skiing (downhill) this morning

weeeeee.......Maybe we can ski till our Mohican outing..... They have been telling us about "Global Warming" over the last 10 years, but from where we all live that is hog wash...Our snow totals over the last 15 years have averaged well above the 100 year average.
At yesterdays Olympic downhill ski race, I skied that run back in 03' when I was there with our ski club.
Whistler / Blackcomb. The problem with Whistler is it base elevation. Colorado ski areas have an average base elevation of 7000 - 9000 feet. And a top skiable elevation near 12,000. Whistler starts out at 2500' above sea level, and tops out at a hair over 7500'. So the bottom can have rain, where the top is a blizzard. Been there done it
