Who has camping plans for November this year? Sadly, we can't go out the entire month of October but are hoping to get the camper out one more time in early November, and maybe even Thanksgiving weekend.

We're going out to Evergreen park in Ohio again on the weekend of October 24. I'm planning on flushing the tanks out good at that campground since it's a full hookup park in anticipation of it being our last trip of the year.....but.....Shelly and I were talking earlier today, that we're not ready for the season to be over.

Depending on weather, and kids weekend activities, we may try to get out a weekend in November.

It's always a toss up for us. Get a warm weekend in Nov & head out to a local campground or take advantage of the warmth to get the coach washed & the antifreeze put in so that we aren't doing it when it's cold & windy out. It's not easy wrestling a heavy/billowy coach cover in the breeze.

I winterized the TT last night, so that means that I probably won't pull it out of the yard until spring. On the other hand, maybe we'll do something wild............like tent camp in November!

We'll be camping at Mohican SP's Halloween campout this coming weekend (Thur -Sun) I have 12 tubs for a Halloween graveyard scene. I upgraded with more decorations for this year including 7 blacklights and repainted all the home made gravestones with blacklight paint. Last year I only had one or two skull & bone graves. This year I picked up a bunch more. Here is last year at West Branch Halloween Camp-out 07' new blacklight gravestones gravestones for 08'
Two years ago we camped Thanksgiving weekend. Thanksgiving weekend 06' If any weekend in late Oct. or Nov. turns out to be nice, were there..... After Columbus Day we just have to watch what facilities are open at the state parks. Usually Punderson has one showerhouse open and one loop with electric open year round. I don't even think about winterizing till late Nov. I guess I'm trying to delay putting her to sleep for the winter... Sleep ZZZZ.... I just can't let go.....

I'm flying to Denver this weekend for a performance, so no camping for me. But I would like to go camping on October 31-November 2.

What campground can we go to on that weekend?

We are still planning to get out in Nov. I refuse to give up the on the season. We're kind of looking at the Nov. 7-9 weekend. Diane wanted to get a full service site to give the tanks a good flush. Checking the Ohio SP. website they have West Branch's full service sites closing Nov. 1st. I think the weather will detect if they really shut down those sites. Even if we winterize and Thanksgiving weekend is warm and nice we'll get out to Punderson......
At Mohican's Halloween campout last weekend (Oct 16-19) we were voted 3rd place (Campers Choice) best Halloween site. I'll post a few pictures later tonight.....

We were at Salt Fork SP that weekend & it was packed solid! No Halloween festivities, but we had our pumpkin & ghost lights in our windows anyway. It was a might chilly there, too. Can you say hooray for propane?!
