Texas Boomers one and all -
The date on the calendar says it's mid-October, but the temperatures remind us every day that we still live in Texas where we can wear shorts and t-shirts until New Year’s Eve! It is the time of year, though, that many of us are submitting our vacation schedules for the upcoming year and planning out our personal calendars to include our pastime of rv’ing.
Also for your ease in signing up, each rally and campout is already posted on the iRV2.com CALENDAR as well. Just scroll to the appropriate event in whatever month it is hosted and you can sign up for any/all of them!

2010 IS A BIG YEAR FOR
THE TEXAS BOOMERS
This year we are celebrating our 10th anniversary! Oh my, how we have grown since October of 2000 and it has been an exciting adventure every step of the way! We’ll be celebrating all throughout the year at the various rallies and campouts culminating in a BIG ANNIVERSARY BLOWOUT over Labor Day weekend in September at AlamoFiesta RV Resort in Boerne , Texas ! We are hoping that every Boomer who has ever been a part of this great RV club will come out for the event! It will be a not-to-miss grand event.

Some important information to notice when you are checking out the 2010 schedule
You will notice there are a couple of months where nothing is planned. The reasons for this are three-fold 1) we are focusing on the 2010 National Rally in July in which a good number of Boomers plan to head west, 2) we are focusing on the 10th Anniversary celebration in September and 3) we are trying to work out a schedule where rallies and campouts are hosted at least once every 4-6 weeks to prevent overlaps of events. Hopefully, a more “relaxed” schedule will allow everyone to attend all the events more easily.
We hope you’ll take a minute (or two) and co-ordinate your schedule to be able to come join us for all the events planned in 2010. We look forward to seeing each of you! Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or need help w/ signing up for an event.

Sandy, Don and Pat, Mike and Amber and Bob and Kristi, it looks like we will have a great year in 2010. Thanks for all of the hard work.

Since there was no March campout listed, we made reservations at Brazos Bend State Park that weekend. We are meeting friends, so we will have to miss that one.

Please note the following changes to the 2010 camping schedule:
1. The March Camp Out has been dropped.
2. The location for the October Camp Out has been changed from Lake Medina to Coushatte RV Ranch in Bellville, TX.
