Hi Don ,

So sorry about the late notice, but John & I will not be able to attend the rally. Our RV is in shop for service & we were hoping to have it back by this afternoon, but unfortunately itís not going to be case. We are on the list of clean up duty although the night wasnít specified.
I will post on irv2 in case someone is on the waiting list. We hope to join you in November.

Thanks,
Debbie Thompson

As Sandy said in another post "IT WAS AN AWESOME RALLY"

We welcomed 3 new members:
Ray and Jan Schlitz and Carrie Ann, Ray and Lynn Grant , and John & Shara Wilkerson

The auction netted $2864.

We ate Garbage Can Dinner the whole weekend.

Many of you experienced Zippy Omelets for the 1st time.

We paid tribute to our dear departed friend Rusty Creekmore.

We played many many table games.

We visited, ate, drank, and the friendship
and Boomers love was flowing thruout the entire weekend.

Pat and I want to thank all of you for jumping right in
and helping with whatever needed to be done.

Pat wants to especially thank all the ladies that had a ball
snapping beans, cutting up cabbages, onions, potatoes, ham,
and sausages for the garbage can dinner.

Hope everyone got back home safely and without incident.
Hope to see many of you in Athens in Oct.

Don, you and Pat are the greatest. Thank you both for all your hard work and effort. Rally would not have been the success it was without you!

Labor Day Rally

Don and Pat,

Thank you so much for putting on another great get-together. We had a lot
of fun and as usual, made more good friends !

The Garbage Can Dinner was delicious - BOTH TIMES ! and the Zippy
Omelets (our first experience) was aiso fun.

The memorial we had for Rusty was a wonderful tribute to him, and I hope
a comfort to Sandy, Anita and Leon.

Gary and Gaye Thomas
