Stay Awhile RV Park
10101 State Highway 31 East - Murchison, Texas
The park is located on SH 31 between Athens (10.6 miles) and Tyler.
This is the first time in years that we’ve been to this little jewel in NE Texas.
It’s under new ownership and they’ve revamped the park to add more sites,
the lay of the park and the rally hall. We are excited to make a return visit!
RALLY INFORMATION
We have reserved sites at $31.50 per night.

If you are unable to log onto the thread and sign up, please contact

Upon arrival, stop in at the office, settle up your site fees and they will
direct you to your site. If you desire to park near someone it is suggested you show up at the office together.
Those with health issues or walking difficulties will be parked closest to the hall.
Let us know if you are in one of these categories when you sign up.

Wednesday Night Early Early Arrivals Dinner In Athens - 6:00 PM
Caravan to the Cotton Patch Cafe in Athens.
Thursday Night Early Arrivals Get Together - 6:00 PM
Grill your own meat night.
Bring your meat of choice to grill on grills we will set up at the rally hall.
We will provide a large pot of pinto beans, potato salad,
and ice cream for dessert to complete the meal.
Bring your own beverage of choice and tableware.
Friday Night Meet and Greet – 6:00 pm in the Rally Hall
Bring sandwiches, soup, salad, finger food, or a dessert to share.
Introduction and welcome of our new members.
Games of choice in the rally hall.
Saturday Activities
Traditional Pot Luck Breakfast - 9:00 am in the rally hall
Annual Garbage Can Dinner – 5:00 pm in the Rally Hall
Annual Fun-Fund Raiser Auction following the evening meal.

Sunday Activities
Zippy Omelet Breakfast - 9:00 am in the Rally Hall
Memorial to Rusty Creekmore following breakfast, conducted by Duke Thompson
Leftover Supper – 6:00 pm in the Rally Hall
NOTE: $10 per person will be collected to cover the cost of the
Garbage Can Dinner, the Zippy Omelet Breakfast, and other rally expenses.
