Thank you everyone for the well wishes and we'll send them right back to you on your special day!

Our "cruise" last night was too short! For those near the Clear Lake area, this is a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion although it is not a romantic adventure, but rather a fun evening meeting new people on board the yacht.

Our captain could not have been more than 25 years old.........a bit ominous as we stepped aboard and was introduced. Hey....I've got more driving experience than he does and I'm putting my life in his hands??? Nonetheless, he proved his skill at maneuvering through the bay amidst a lot of other boats, big and small.

The tables were rather close and there were 8 to a table, but we all managed to get to and from the buffet area without any problems. I thought the menu was exceptional - Rusty gave it a "good" rating.

The "Pirate Mystery Theme" was hokey, but lots of fun - various people on the ship were invited to participate with speaking parts......including RUSTY! I couldn't believe he volunteered! I am notably the "drama queen" in our family, but last night was his time to shine!

If anyone is interested in going, just google "dinner cruises" from Galveston/Kemah. The next time we go, I want to go on the bigger double decker yacht on the nighttime dinner cruise!

Thank you one and all for the well wishes...you helped us to celebrate a special day!

Sandy

Congragulations Madame Boomer. I'll tell you what if I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself. My Bride & I are going to a 50th Anniversary party that our children (never thought that I would be married this long never mind live this long) are having for us later on today.
We both wish you many more happy/healthy years. Terry & Bev.

Pace89 -
Congratulations on your 50th! I know what you mean...I wish I knew "back then" what I know now after 40 years - probably would have made life together even better than it has been!

Happy Belated Anniversary, Sandy and Rusty. Sorry for the lateness but I'm still recovering from our summer trip and gearing up for our European River Cruise next week. I was much older than you when I married; I was 4 because I'm going to be married 45 years next spring!

The boat trip sounds like a good time. Let's not wait for an anniversary, let's just go and do. See you at Rayford for Christmas if not before.

Ted and Donna

Congrads to the 2 of you. Glad you found each other! You are just a year behind Ellen and I.
