46 By-Pass to Boerne

For those coming from the northeast to the rally taking 46, there is now a shortcut that avoids driving through downtown Boerne.

After you pass the fair grounds (big blue barn) and City Park and Herff Ranch Road.

turn left @ a stop light on to HERRF ROAD.

go about 1.2 miles to Main St and turn left at the light and come on to the park...remember to veer left at the "Y...

great road...good sinage ...and miss downtown traffic.

Sandy

So is Herrft road now complete to S Main? Used to end at Old San Antonio Rd.
We have always gone that way but had to turn left on Old San Antonio road and right on Industrial street and come back to the park on the access road.

Yes, Herrf Road passes Old San Antonio Rd now and dead ends at Main Street now....

We came that way today from New Braunfels and it's really a nice by pass around downtown!
