Don, we are trying to get all our loose ends tied up so we can leave for an extended swing through the northwest. That being said, IF we can finally get off the 5th or 6th of July, we are going to shoot straight north up I35 and will be passing through Thackerville. If its between th 4th and the 8th, will it be a problem to join in for a day or two?

Jim just as long as you bring the RSC's (red solo cups) and the stuff to put in them NOT A PROBLEM. It will be no problem at all. I'd suggest you try to make it up before Friday so ya'll can go to the WinStar fabulous buffet with us.
If you can let me know a little in advance your planned schedule, I will let the office know when you are arriving and departing.

Well I'll guarantee one thing, you'll never find a park any nicer than this one. The check-in place is assume, the sites are more than spacious and the slots are loose.

FYI only, no fire starters will be needed! If you lay a stick out there for more than a few minutes, it will self ignite. Yep, its hot...104 when we got here around 2 but it has cooled to a bearable 101 now that its almost 7pm. Never even noticed the heat while we were pulling dollar bills out of our pockets and feeding those hungry machines.

Its a great place for a rally, y'all have a wonderful time.

Whoops! Big mistake on my part. I thought the rally was at the casino rv park. If you haven't seen this park, drive through while you're visiting. First night free when you sign up for a players card at the cg reservation office plus $25 gaming credit. Its $20.50/night for 80ft concrete pad pull thru, water/sewer/electrical connections on both sides so you can pull in and face a neighbor if you like. Shuttle service runs every 20 minutes or so. Free buffet breakfast Wed morning.

Come on by! You're always welcome at a Boomer rally/campout.

While you're in Clovis could you visit my in-laws? Then I won't have to go in Aug
Seriously though, where are you camping in Clovis? We will need a CG there for 3-4 days in late Aug.

That would be great Linda & David. What day will you arrive and depart. I will add you to the list and when you arrive at the park just tell them you are with the Texas Boomers.

Thanks for the update Jim. The reason we booked Red River instead of the Casino is that the Casino doesn't do groups and didn't have a rally hall last time I checked. Red River is a little older and quaint but it is a decent park and the folks that run it are very nice.

FOLKS DON'T GET CONFUSED OUR CAMP OUT IS AT RED RIVER RANCH RV PARK IN DOWNTOWN THACKERVILLE NOT AT THE CASINO

I do apologize for my earlier post, Don. I hope I didn't confuse the issue. FYI, the casino cg is hosting a Good Sam Rally so apparently they have some kind of rally hall.

Another bit of info, the gas/diesel station you show has diesel for $3.33/gal or at least thats what it was yesterday.

Again, I'm sorry if I caused any confusion on the location of the rally.
