We bought a NEWER 1989 Avion 34V and are selling the 1979 Silver Streak.

So we no longer have the oldest RV in the group...we relinquish the title to Ron and Ellen.

Some photos before we do any work to it. We have officially named it as "TWINKIE GRANDE" or TG for short.

The carpet goes first.

Ken

Ken,

It sure does look like a nice looker! I'm sure you're going to enjoy tweaking it and making it your own! Enjoy!

I think we'll be quite comfortable in this should another hurricane hit! We're tickled for you! Agree the carpet has to go

Very sharp lookin rig. I would still like to see one of ya'll wit those trailer take some metal polish and a buffer and see how shiney you can get it. See if you can make it like chrome, it's a Harley thing. I can see the accident report on a sunny day now----"I don't know officier, I just remember a truck passing me and then I was blinded" Maybe on second thought that would not be good idea LOL. But I do like the trailer.

The newer Silver Streaks (changed in the mid 1970's) and Avions are all anodized aluminum. The earlier ones and Air streams were polished. Some of the folks polish them to a mirror finish.

Nice!

Let me know when you are going to polish it. I'll be at the next campground over, but I'll send Jim to help you.

Go with tan leather and medium blue carpet, leave the walls as is.

Enjoy,

We decided to stay home and not make the big ditch. Susan's Dad starts cancer treatments next week and she needs to be here to help them out.

It is not getting polished. Susan has already started buying stuff for the new trailer..grays, blues and beige.

Looks good! They pull so good. Rally planners should park us together now since we are near twins. Ellen and I love our Avion. Glad we made the change last year.
