Jim, all I can say is that it is about time. You are one lucky fellow to find someone like Judy.

Now we need to know the date.

"bowling shirt"? What's it all coming too? Roxie is still in a whirl and wants to be the best man. Ever since she got her own chair around the camp far, she thinks she's so special and "bossy".

Anybody have a friend in the diamond business? They are doing some good stuff with zirconium...I keep telling Judy.

Jim,
Don't be a cheapskate. Go to Macy's and get Judy an expensive Le Vian diamond.

(p.s., Don't tell her, but they usually have them on sale.)

Seriously, Le Vian has uniqly designed rings by Eddie Le Vian. No two rings are alike. They say women like chocolate, so maybe a chocolate diamond is in order. You could have the best of both worlds. (Strawberry's and whipped cream have to be bought in a grocery store.)

Oh, and congratulations to you and condolences to Judy - well okay, congratulations to Judy.

My wife and I would like to offer our congratulations. Hey I think I even spelled it right. Was this gonna be a shotgun wedding?

OK-I read all through that, and all the best to the lovely couple. Now, I demand an invitation to the wedding. I shall bring a present, of course. Maybe a few gallons of Prestone or similar item. Are you guys registered at Lumbermans or 'Cheaper than dirt'? gun stores?

We are so so sorry but the invitation list ended two days ago. The Houston fire marshalls will allow just so many people in the Astrodome and we are close to the capacity now. Of course we are saving a couple spots just in case...you know, like the president wants to come. Not the current but the last one of course.

About the registering for gifts. We've decided since we have most of what we need, I mean my gosh, we have three toasters now, we will just accept cash. No checks. We cannot leave any paper trails for the IRS.

I certaintly hope you're not offended for not getting an invite, Roxie ate the list and we had to go from memory near the end. And we all know how our memories are getting or do we?

Wonder why she ate the list?

I honestly don't know what to think. I share my Lynx Levelers with a man, and I'm not even invited to his wedding. What's this world coming to?
