After Labor Day Rally at Mitchell RV Resort

Our original Labor Day Rally was scheduled to be hosted at Coffee Creek RV Park in Santo, Texas over the holiday weekend, but it was cancelled due to road construction in the area and crews needing sites for 3 months – 12 months. Due to this unforeseen circumstance, the rally has been moved to another date and location.

* * * *PLEASE READ ENTIRE ANNOUNCEMENT * * * * *
FOR COMPLETE INFORMATION

AFTER LABOR DAY RALLY
Friday, September 7th to Monday, September 10th
at Mitchell RV Resort in Perrin, Texas
2730 FM 2210 East Perrin, Tx 76486

The Texas Boomers hosted the 2008 iRV2 National Rally there with approximately 65 rigs attending from all over the country. It is a uniquely, old west themed park and they have added more sites, attractions, features, club houses during the past 10 years!
We are excited to go back there!

Please take some time to look through the website at
Mitchell Resort and RV Park - Perrin Texas - 940-798-4615

PARK LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS
From I-20 at Tx 281 – Perrin is about 30 miles north .
Go through Mineral Wells to Perrin – don’t blink or you’ll miss it!!!!!
turn right on 2210 and the park is about 4 miles on the right.
There are many other routes depending on where you are coming in from.

PLEASE NOTE
The park is truly in the middle of nowhere, so come prepared!
The nearest grocery stores and fuel stations are either in Weatherford or Jacksboro.
There is one fuel station in Perrin, but not sure it has diesel.

SITE INFORMATION
We have 30 sites on reserve with more available if needed!
$38 per night for 30 amp service - $42 per night for 50 amp service.
Weekly rate $225 for 30 amps and $250 for 50 amps
(arrival Sept 4th to Sept 11th)

Two night minimum and site registration is NON-REFUNDABLE if you cancel.

Log onto their website and view park layout. We will be in sites 2-54 in the center of the park across from Rally Building 3 where we hosted the 08 National Rally.

Call the park directly at 940-798-4615 to reserve your site

Sandy,

I think we might be in for a week! Sounds great. Don't be afraid of the 13'11" underpass on 281 just north of IH-20. We are 13'4" and cleared it last week with no problem. There is a way around it if you are still concerned.

We'll arrive on Tuesday after the Labor Day crowd leaves and stay a week there. And no worries about the underpass...we've been on that road at least 3 times this year and made it under coming and going!!!

Drove through Perrin this morning. Perrin Grocery sign showed diesel at $2.95.9 so it is there. Grocery store looks pretty small so advice to stock pantry before leaving for the rally looks to be right on.
