Blood Mobile Coming to the Christmas Rally

Mike Brown has been contacted by the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and they will schedule a unit to come to the Rally to collect our blood donations in honor of
Barb Ellerbrock and Beverly Montgomery
SUNDAY MORNING
December 4th
7:00 am - 12:00 or later
it is imperative that we have at least 25 signups
to warrant the expense
(transportation to and from the rv resort
and employees paid to man the unit)
for them to come.
The process will take about 45 - 60 minutes start to finish. They will test you prior to see if you are eligible for donation. Then the collection will begin and you'll finish with juice and cookies and be checked before leaving the unit! They can accomodate 4-6 people at a time in the unit, so the process should go rather quickly, especially for those who have a distance to drive home....we'll schedule them in first!

Sandy, I'll donate if they will let me. They may not let me with the meds I take and my HBP meds. I am in the same boat as Don.
They won't let Susan due to her heart problem.

Contact the Gulf Coast Regional Bloodbank directly at the email address below if you have questions about eligibility if you have health issues and are on certain medications. I contacted them about mine and received a response within 24 hours..........
Since it appears that we are reaching the goal, I will make arrangements to have coffee available for those waiting in line!
