Celebrate New Years At Miller Creek RV

No plans for New Years Eve.

Texas Boomers from all over but especially the hill country area are invited to join the Shodrock's and Allen's at Miller Creek RV Park in Johnson City to welcome in the new year. Paul & Judy Roundtree, owners of the park will host the festivities which include a park wide bring your own meat to grill and a side to share Friday evening, followed by live entertainment & new years eve party in the rally hall. Saturday morning the park will put on a pancake breakfast. There will be a small fee per person for the entertainment and breakfast.

We plan to arrive on Thursday afternoon and stay till Sunday morning. As a note the Christmas lights in Fredericksburg & Johndon City are spectacular and worth a visit.

The park has sites available so please contact them to make your reservation. Tell them you are with the Texas Boomers so they can park us together if possible. Call Toll Free: 1-877-868-2622 or -

Click here for Miller Creek Web Site

Please reply to this thread after making reservation so we can know who is coming.

Hey Dave and Charlotte - I guess we will have to ring in the New Year for all the boomers at Miller Creek since it appears we got no takers.

I want to make a Boomers event, but I just got home tonight from my Christmas trip. With the rains (monsoons), we haven't even gotten the Land Dinghy unpacked.

DBF did want to try camping this weekend but Brazos Bend was booked up - wonder if Johnson City is too far

Don and Pat, we wish y'all a very Happy New Year.

The Avion is off the road for axle repairs. The new axles should be at my house by mid January and we should be ready to roll for the February Sock-Hop.

A bunch of the Houston area folks are at Bellville for the holiday.

Ken
