Don't believe everything you read.

Judy and I are sure there will be tales and stories over the next few days about tonight's auction...it ain't necessarily the truth.

My daddy taught me two things. 1) Don't spend the silver dollar he gave me and I'll never be broke. I still have it.
2) Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see ... but I saw a baby! I really did! Now what?

Okay. Before this tale gets completely out of control, we must give our side of the story. EPT was negative. Diaper bag was actually a cooler. The wind chime was no way a mobile for the crib. And on and on and on. Baby Dunkette was delivered in the dark of the night by our "friends" and only discovered by us early the next morning with a group of camera snapping friends at our door.

Sad part, we left baby under Roxie's care and someone "stole" her, bassinet and all last night. We know she had measles when we last saw her so we hope the kidnappers will treat her well.

Pay back is the devil.

Jim, sometimes it's difficult to realize that the truth hurts. There were 29 plus rigs, and almost everyone saw the baby Trying to blame poor Roxie for not watching Baby Dunkette, shame, shame ,shame..

It is so easy, in the midst of all the frivolity, to actually forget what happened, when it happened and why it happened. As time fleets by, we tend to sometimes even get fuzzy and fail to remember THAT IT HAPPENED.

In Jim and Judy's defense, I know all to well these thing occur. But to refresh their memory of this memorable, blessed event, here is proof positive!

Now, as to where Slam-dunk(ette) may be at the present moment...no one knows........or will admit to it!!

But I promise...we WILL see her again!

Sandy

PS....and really to set the record straight....I had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with this!!!

Jim,
At your age with a new baby, I wouldn't have a smile on my face either
