Edge Evolution CS Programmer

Good morning,

I am looking for owner experiences using the Edge Evolution CS Programmer for your diesel engine. I have a 2013 Ford F250 with a 6.7 which doesn't produce the MPG (both towing and general driving,) that I think it should. I am planning to take it to a Ford dealer to replace an EGT sensor that is out, and to get them to check the engine in general. Based on what I have read and seen while following other 6.7's down the road, I am unsure if the engine has ever done a regen. I've never seen the cloud of black smoke that I've seen from other 6.7's. The last dealer I took it to said, "it all looked clean down there."

Any experiences you've had with the Evolution CS Programmer, or any other alternatives that won't break the bank, would be greatly appreciated.

Tim

Howdy Tim L, I can't help you with the programmer, but I am interested in what others may post about it. Also, I've never seen my 2014 F350 blow black smoke during "regen" and I've never seen anyone else's do it either. Not saying they don't, but I haven't seen it. My 2012 Cardinal weighs in gross around 14k and I typically get around 9.2-9.5 pulling it on Texas roads, and around 16-17mpg without it running from Bellville to Beltway 8/249 area each day. Biggest problem I have is holding it back ... 80-85 mph feels like nothing is happening.
