Girls raised in Texas always say:
1. "Yes Maam."
2. "Yessir."

Girls raised in Texas have a distinct way with fond expressions:
1. "Yawl come back."
2. "Well, bless yer harrt."
3. "Drop by when ya can."
4. "How's yer mama?
5. "Love yer hair."

Girls raised in Texas know their three R's:
1. Rich
2. Richer
3. Richest

Girls raised in Texas know everybody's first name:
1. Hunny
2. Darlin'
3. Shuger

Girls raised in Texas know the movies that speak to their hearts:
1. "Gone With the Wind"
2. "Fried Green Tomatoes"

Girls raised in Texas know the three deadly sins:
1. Bad hair

Seems I remember seeing that same post but it had a "S" at the end of it and it was called "Girls raised in the South". Same stuff, just anywhere where "Texas" was listed "Girls from the South" was listed instead.

Besides, have you ever cooked a "Grit" or do you cook "Grits"????

Don, its impossible to cook a grit. I've tried a couple times and over cook each time. I guess I over cook it because I can never find it after the allotted cooking time. Now if you cook several (ie grits) its much easier to not cook them into disappearance.

Now back to the op. Give me a G.R.I.T. or a G.R.I.T.S anytime. Thank you Madame for reminding me how lucky I am.
