Any advise on a good RV park in Ruidoso? Tre says we gotta go find some cool in August. Other cool (temperaturewise) locations will be considered. Mo' closer; mo' better.

Come to Denmark and enjoy the Danish summer (also known as "The green winter") with us.

Temperature here is 63 degree F and it's been raining for the last 1½ week. Fortunately the rain will stay with us for another week according to the forecast. We are close to starting up the central heating.

End of August we will be in Texas and we are hoping for slighty higher temperatures than what we have at the moment.

Great way to spend a Texas summer. We're already contemplating an extended northwest trip for next summer.

You will be sweltering as soon as you hit Texas soil in August. I was born and raised in Texas and I still can't handle it sometimes.

Are you going to join us for the Labor Day rally? Hope so! It will be good to see you again.

Yes - we are going and we are looking so much forward to see "the gang" again. We are looking at the Boomers site daily to check if Sandy has issued the invite.

Henrick, you will get warmer here. Just checked the outdoor thermometer that is in the shade on the NE corner of the house....101.1 degF.....And we have not got to the hot part of summer yet.

Bring some cooler weather and lots of rain when you come to Texas. Come to think of it...you can go ahead and send it NOW.

We are at the end of July and supposed to be right in the middle of the warmest period of the year. Today we had 57 degrees F and rain (again) all day. I actually went and stuck the heating on.

I wonder what is worse in July: 57 degree F and rain or 107 degree F and sun? Right now I would definitely prefer the latter of the two.

Well I'm going to be crossing paths with you! On my way to Denmark to see the family in Aug and hoping for cooler temps. It's HOT at lower elevations in most of the US right now. 60 sounds great....
