We have 25 sites contracted for the rally.
Please call the park at 903-677-3326 to make your reservation.
Please reply to this post once you have made your reservation
with Names, Arrival Date and Departure Date.
To insure that a site will be available,
the park asks that you make you reservation prior to Oct 16!

We have filled the 25 allotted sites for the rally.
The park can give us 2 or 3 more sites if needed.
Please call and make your reservation right away if you plan to attend.

ACTIVITIES

Thursday 25 Oct -
6 PM - Nacho Taco Night
Welcome newbies - Games in rally hall - campfar.

Friday 26 Oct -
6 PM - Soup, Sandwich, Salad night
Games in rally hall - campfar.

Saturday 27 Oct -
9 AM - Traditional Boomer Pot Luck Breakfast

11 AM- Pickle Ball

2 PM - RV Electric System Seminar and walk thru of the new RV training facility -
provided by Terry Cooper, new owner of the park and training facility.

5 PM - Traditional Boomer Pot Luck Dinner

7:00 PM - Halloween Costume party and contest
followed by a special Halloween Party Bingo
with prizes to the winners.

Sunday 28 Oct
8 AM - Coffee and Pastries in the rally hall
and farewells to those departing that day.

WOW!!

I just talked to the park and I am sorry to say I cannot justify a 45.00 per night rate with a 40.00 per night Rally Rate.

I may be being too chintzy, but that is too much of an increase from what it was.....over a 63% increase!!

I am not able to attend at those rates....or am I out of touch with current pricing?

I paid 25.00 a night last Halloween...?

Kent, unfortunately that is the current pricing for the park. Most parks raise their rates on an annual basis, albeit not as much as this park this year, but one of the reasons for such an increase is because it's come under new ownership this past year. They have gone in with some major renovations, regraded roads and upgraded a number of the sites, added 10+ new sites and by next year will build a new, larger rally hall as well as some other major improvements.

Most of the parks that we go to have increased their rally rates. Miller Creek in Johnson City, for example, is $45 per night. An RV park's cost for maintenance, water & electric,etc are generated by their local utility departments just as we notice on our utility bills at our homes and any increases are passed down to those who use their services.

I hope I've explained it well enough for you to make your independent decision to attend or not. We've gone to Athens for many years and want to continue to go there because it's a good location. I try hard to get us into parks that are reasonably priced (current with other parks) that have the amenities we need for a rally.

There are many others who charge $80-$90 a night...we won't be going there!!!
