Thanks to all who attended the Texas Boomer’s Hoedown Rally this weekend. We hope y’all enjoyed yourselves as much as Mary and I did. We really appreciated the kind remarks from several you as you were leaving today. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to make the Easter Rally but hope to see many of you at Miller Creek Memorial Day Weekend. Mary should be recovered from the line dancing by then

Mary and David Lovitt

A fabulous weekend was had by all.....................except David Shodrock who came down with a "bug" that kept him confined to the rv! Hope you're up and around soon!

THANK YOU DAVID AND MARY
for putting together a super campout! Bandera was the perfect location for the event and Skyline RV Park was the perfect place for us to stay at for an authentic Texas style hoedown! It's a lot of work to put on a Texas Boomer shindig, but oh so rewarding when you see how much fun everyone has! Now that you've got one under your belt, I hope you'll think about hosting another one down the road!

Kudoes to Barbara Spade for taking care of the meal plans....she's got it down to a fine art now! And to our resident music master, Don Allen, for always having the right song for the right occasion! Guacamole!!!!

The trip out to Carolyn's work camping place was a treat and the shops in town were extremely happy to see us coming! Hope someone got photos of all the "bling" bought in Bandera!

It was so nice to meet Carolyn's friend, Terri, this trip and hope she knows she's welcome to come back any time! It was great to see our friends, John and Joyce Sing (moderator emeritus on irv2 from New Jersey/Pennsylvania now wintering in Texas), who came for Saturday night supper! Not sure if they know what to make of us Texas Boomers, but they thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Visions of the steps to the Waltz, the Guacamole, Boot Scootin Boogie and the Cupid Shuffle won't leave my head! Grapevine right 2 3 Grapevine left 2 3, step, step, forward, snap, snap....oh my gosh! So much fun to learn and do that night ... I wasn't able to see behind my head.....but heard reports that a certain Boyd Kramer (Twinkle Toes Kramer as we'll now call him) added a few extra steps to the waltz!!!!!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a little trouble walking this morning either We love to dance and I'm sure there's going to be a few happy chiropractors this week!

PHOTOS! There was lots of flashes going on.....so I know lots of pictures were taken! Be sure to get in touch with Don (don.allen@texasboomers.net) to get signed up on our new Texas Boomers server so everyone can see the photos!

THANK YOU DAVID AND MARY
for a great time!

Sandy

Mary & David, you did a great job. Bitsy & I had a good time even with David sick in the trailer. He's doing much better now. We can't make the Easter rally but we will be at Miller's Creek for Memorial Day. I'll bring special water for David & a surgical mask so we don't repeat this past weekend.

Richard and I want to add our thanks to the Lovitts, Don Allen, and all who helped make the Bandera Hoedown a fun-filled time with good friends....wish it could've lasted longer!
We can't make the Easter Rally but will see y'all in May at Miller Creek.

Charlotte, bring Gatorade!

Photos and videos for the Hoedown are now available on the new Texas Boomers Dedicated Server. Emil me for instructions on how to use the new server. You don't want to miss Boot Skootin Boogie or the Cupid Shuffle.
