You have to forgive Jim. He can't even remember if he got out of bed this morning.

The little tyke is going all to all kinds of new places and meeting all kinds of new friends........I'd say she's quite happy with her new adopted parents and wouldn't want to sneak away from them! She knows which side of the butter the bread is on!

Well leave it to a sip to blow my plan. I knew several sips would see my post and rush to College Station if for no other reason than to get away from Austin for a day. Now that you've spilled the beans, I'm sure my view of the game won't be that good. Thanks alot!

Sandy, do we need to get "Da Judge" to issue a Restraining Order to keep Baby Dunkette from being bothered by her "birth Parents"? Some loving people have her now and have her on the road to recovery and they may decide that they want her back now that she is a nice well adjusted kid...except for the "Orange" issue.

Halloween

Baby Dunkette wanted to go trick-or-treating this year as a kitty cat, so we found a cute costume for her and as you can see, she made a pretty good haul with the candy.

As we mentioned before, the poor thing suffers from so many maladies like FLS (fused lips syndrome). She just couldnt open her mouth to eat all the goodies that she collected, so Mom & Dad had to step in and eat all the candy so that it wouldnt go bad (BURP)

While walking thru the neighborhood collecting candy on Halloween, at one house where we stopped, the neighbor's dog thought she was one of his CHEW TOYS and snatched her right out of her crib !!!
We chased him down the road for about a half mile as he kept tossing her up in the air and catching her in his teeth. We finally caught up with him and snatched her from his jowls before he took off again. After cleaning off all the dog slobber and snot, we put her back in her crib and placed her back in her cupboard again.

What an exciting night !!!

I think I saw her at my house! She makes a darn cute little kitty cat! Thank goodness she couldn't eat all that candy.....she'd be on a sugar-high for weeks...glad ya'll stepped in to take the temptation away!!!!

soooooooooooo sorry about the encounter w/ the neighborhood dog! No doubt our little one was frightened half out of (whatever amount of) her wits with that incident! Bad, BAD DOG!

Can't wait to see her adventures of her first Christmas...well actually it's her second Christmas, but I don't think the first one counts since she really didn't have the chance to meet ole Saint Nick or go shopping!

Baby Dunkette was sooooooo exited to see some of her friends this past weekend in Cut-n-Shoot. As it turned out we just happened to be parked right next to her BIRTH PARENTS - JIM AND JUDY SIMS !!!!!

It was an omen because the last time she saw them was many, many months ago. We called her for breakfast on Saturday and could not find her anywhere in the coach, so we ran outside thinking that one of the park dogs was playing with her again (as a chew toy) when we spotted her trying to get into her REAL Daddy's coach.

Once we got her back, she hung out in the coach until Saturday night when she made an appearance at dinner and received all kinds of oooooooos and aaaaahhhhhs. Everyone was pinching her cheeks and taking pictures with her (spoiled kid). She even got to spend time with her real Daddy - Jim.

She spent time with Aunt Linda and Uncle Dan

................ and Aunt Sandy and Uncle Rusty (who agreed to babysit once in a while)

........................and of course Uncle Festus (Don) who agreed to feed her her nightly bottle as we gathered around the camp-far. (I think Don had already finished most of his own bottle by this time)

She slept all night and didn't wake up until we arrived back home in Point Blank. Uncle Festus, what all was in that bottle anyhow?

Some of the newer members were asking about the real story behind Baby Dunkette, so I attached the following link which pretty much explains her conception in Jim and Judy Sims' rig at the Burleson Rally last fall.

"CONCEPTION?" it was a happening of major proportion. I'm just glad the snot nose little twit is securely locked in the pantry of Mike and Barb's motorhome. If I can catch the little twit hanging on my door again I'll see how good her grip will be at 60mph. Too bad her adoptive parents performed the surgery to her hands...gig'em Aggies.

Mike and Barb, we did not see Dunkette all weekend at Cut-n-Shoot. DI you have locked in a cabinet or chained under the RV?

She was there, Ken! I got to hold her for a couple of minutes and she was on her best behaviour....not a tear fell from her eye or whine from her tiny little mouth and no diaper changes!!!
