If you have a Country Coach, Prevost, Newell or one of the other top end coaches this is your place. We feel like the Clampit's in Beverly Hills.

You have to have a minimum 28ft Class A, no fifth wheels. Judy learned last night from one lady that people who travel in fifth wheels are strange. Dang, she thought some of our best friends travel in fifth wheels. Goodness forbid if you had tent trailer. Oh my.

We're suppose to be here till Thursday, not sure I can make it that long. Boondocking in a Wally World is more appealing.

Oh yes, they wouldn't let me put out my flamigos...no yard art allowed. I have them in the window...probably will ask us to leave before Thursday.

We miss our trailer trash friends..
I can assure you that many of the people in the higher end coaches were not as rude and snobbish as the lady with the fifth wheel phobia. Most are nice people that enjoy the life.

If you looked at the repo coaches for sale when the economy tanked, there were as many high end coaches as mid and entry level coaches at auction.

Many of the high end parks establish rules to create exclusivity, they feel with exclusivity comes the ability to charge higher prices. Some (few) come for the exclusivity, most come because it is a nice park.

I have stayed at some parks with trailer trash and I mean by anybodies definition it was trailer trash. Most true trailer trash would not be able to or want to pay the price to stay at the high end parks.

The moral to my story is that not all people with money are snobs and not all people with trailers are trailer trash!

Thanks! I put the battery charger on it and said a few prayers and it did start. I put the top down and drove it around the campground since it was such a beautiful day. I drove back to Houston the next day and after 7 hours of being towed it was fine. All I can think is that I must have put the key in the wrong position and not been paying attention. Thanks for the offer of help! Boomers are FAMILY!

Hey Jim did you read this - you can quit walking around with your nose in the "I hope it don't rain position".

By the way Jim, how is your search for "Slam Dunkette," going?

I heard she has been sighted, but I don't know the present location yet.

Thanks for the lesson, however, I still miss my Boomer Friends.

I also know a few people who i would like your dog to use their tires. Just because i have a motorhome, i like people who have fun. If you want a rocker and bonnet,i may be able to provide you one, but you have to pick it up. I have been by the big shot place you talk about many times and everytime i pass by, i look the other way.. Don't like snootypeople.
I may not have a million dollar coach, but i don't have the big monthly payments to go with it either.

Sorry, didn't mean to teach or preach. Just thought you maybe felt that the you were looked down upon because of the insensitive comment from the "Lady".

I always miss my friends when I am not around them too. I will keep my nose out of others business, sorry for the intrusion!

Hey Jim - no offense taken here from your comments. In fact they were most welcomed. You can't have thin skin when posting in the Texas Boomers section as this bunch will chime up with what they think no matter what, but is without a doubt a great group of people and we all own every kind of rig imaginable.

I do have a sense of humor, when my Wife and I full-timed a few years back, we used Texas as our official address (Escapees). When we traveled, people used to comment about our Texas license plates and ask if we were from Texas.

When we went to Lake Tahoe, we visited the Ponderosa Ranch Set and I purchased an 8 foot set of mounted Longhorn Steer Horns. When we stayed a few winters at two different high end parks in Florida, I would take out the horns and Mount them on the front of our motor home, used to drive some of the people crazy. I even had one Guy ask if I could take them off before his friends came over for cocktails. I told him no, they didn't come off, they just grew that way!

We're having fun. Had a tenter next too us last night that invited us over for s'mores. The snooters didn't invite us for martinis and I make a dang good one. Can't wait for the Belleville outing with our friends.
