Dang Sandy You just had to remind me that we have to return to the heat so I'll quit rubbing it in.

My dh reminded me that Ohio is hot & sticky in the summer! The only saving grace about it is that it's for a lot shorter period of time (say June through September maybe!!) then it's cold the remaining 9 months of the year!!!

I guess I'll stick around here...unless ya'll happen to have some extra room up there with an rv pad, 50 amp hookup and sewer/dump station available! I need to get outa this heat!!!!

I was looking at a coach northwest of Portland, owned by a man who had just bought a new Foretravel. I asked him, "With a coach like that, what are you doing at home?" His response: "If I lived somewhere else, this is where I would come in the summertime. When the weather gets too wet and cold, then I'll leave."

Pure, cold logic is tough to beat.

We're heading south in the morning from the Grand Tetons. And just so you all know, Don's in a heat wave. It was 46 this morning and a high of 67. We were going to go to the pool but nobody had a way to crack the ice.

Cheyenne tomorow night, Amarillo Monday...Judy is going to get that "free" 70 something ounce steak and then we are staying a couple days with friends in Lubock before heading on home. Wish us safe travels as well as all the other Boomers that are traveling now.

Please, please bring some of that cool air back home with you!!! We are melting here.

Good luck with that "free" steak, Judy. I wonder how much will be left over for Roxie.

Of course we are wishing safe travels to all our friends out there on the road!

Be safe Jim & Judy ! We sure don't want any harm to befall our beloved ROXIE !

We'll be heading for Yellowstone on July 27 and then on to Mt Rushmore after a couple of days there and plan to start wending our way toward Texas the 1st week in August. By then I am sure the current heat wave there will be over.

Don, check out Rafter J RV Resort in Hill City, SD. We stayed there 9 days and could have stayed many more. Its near Mt Rushmore, Custard State Park (a must).

If ya'll haven't done the Beartooth Hwy drive, do it. Its the ne entrance to YNP. We found it to be the most spectaculiar drive in the world. We stayed at Rocky Mountain CG in Gardiner and it was okay.

Let me know if you need anymore info, such as local duct tape distributors.
