Montana Rest area

If you look close, its proof positive that Don was through here recently.

We found the used, empty roll of duct tape at a rest area entering Montana today.

So that's where it went. It had at least 1 & 1/2 inches of good tape left on it. Hope you picked it up for me Jim and will bring it to the Labor Day Rally.

Well Jerry I didn't intentionally leave anything behind.

Sandy, We actually had to put coats on this moening it was so cold and the temp stayed below 70 all day. I knew there was a reason to get outta Texas for the summer.

Today's paper reported the Houston area has set a new record high for the 7th consecutive day w/ 100+ temps...last record set in 1902

I'm almost ready to move back to Ohio....anywhere that isn't hot and sticky!!!

This will cool you down Ken. I had to turn the heat pumps on this morning to knock the chill out. It was 58 in the mh, a little cool for even me.

We haven't used AC since reaching WY on this trip. It has been a little warm during the day here in WA (84) but down in the fifties at night.

By the way Rusty the Yokahama's I put on the trailer seem to be doing real well. No complaints at all.

Congrats Carolyn. We spent the day driving the Beartooth Hwy in Montana/Wyoming and reached 10991 feet elevation. Stopped and watched some snow skiers and then moved on to the mountain goats.

One request...take care of the spindly legged chicken that you so graciously "won".
