I am new to all this and love Texas. My daughter and grandkids live just north of Dallas so will be spending time there very often. Am moving back to the goodol USA next year and will full time or most of the time also. My question is what is the Texas Boomers Club all about.
Thanks Steve & Kattia

Texas Boomers become family. We get together once monthly and have a great time. Pot luck meals, cards, dominos and other games. No dues, just come have fun with a great bunch of folks. Looking forward to meeting you. Member have motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers. A lot of members are still working and some are retired.

Steve and Kattia......

Welcome to irv2.com - glad you found the website and you'll find it fun and informative...especially when you get back to the good ole USA and start looking to buy a rig for your full time enjoyment!

And welcome to the TEXAS BOOMERS area and consider yourself invited to pop in often and let us know how/when/where you'll get here!

The group has been rallying since 2000 and, as TexasPSDX said, we get together quite often. All our events are posted in this section for the entire year and hope to have our 2012 schedule up soon!

For a more detailed overview of the Texas Boomers, our website at www.texasboomers.org will give you an idea of our history along with some photos and other info.

You can also find us on Facebook by searching Texas Boomers RV Club

keep in touch!
Sandy

Get back here as quick as you can!!!

Sandy

Thanks for the warm welcome. Will be in Shermon Tx for Thanksgiving ( 2 weeks ) and will check out RVs and MHs at a place in Ft Worth in I35 that has Tiffin`s and a few others I want to see. Like a lot of people, I am having a hard time picking the RV type I want. I am down to three I think. Tiffin Allegro Breeze 32BR & Itasca 35F & and a new 4wd F350 or a 3500 truck and a fifth wheel about 32 to 34 foot. I have been reading RVTravel and everything I see for months now and sure look forward to several years of travel! Enjoy this site so much.
Will post some photos soon( I hope )

Good luck figuring out which RV to buy. We have owned two travel trailers, two fifth-wheels and three motor homes over the years. Right now the fifth-wheel is the best for us, but everyone has different priorities. You can find a wealth of information on this site; everything from maintenance to towing tips. Again, good luck!
