Last weekend it finally decided to rain here in Temple. Of course we were out RVing at Lake Belton and the MH decided to show us it had a couple of opportunities regarding water proofing at key locations on the roof (like places caulk would be applied).

Back home on Tuesday I checked out the caulking at a couple of these locations and noticed that a previous owner used common household caulk and did a less than desirable job of cleaning before they applied it. When I combined this with a 14 year old roof, it seemed like time to bite the bullet and have the roof replaced.

Our rig is hanging out at Lonestar RV in Harker Heights and should have a new roof and all the fixings installed before the November rally.

The good news is I shouldn't have to replace the roof again for a while and hopefully can sleep thru the next rain storm!

Good Luck with Lonestar RV - Worst dang RV Service Center in the entire universe. I can go on for hours with my story about my terrible experience and very costly with them.
