Never satisfied, we've added a second fur baby to our family. She is another Tzsu rescue from the same group as Cami. We picked her on on Saturday. While Cami was about 3-4 years old when we got her, Sara is only 13 months. She was previously adopted by others but had "issues" and they returned her. She isn't completely housebroken yet but we are working very diligently on that. She is definitely smart enough to learn quickly. She and Cami just about wore themselves out playing yesterday. I suspect there is a little bit of trying to figure out who the Alpha female is in their play but they both understand I'm the "pack leader."
The rescue group called her Stevie Nicks but Stevie and Cami turned out to be just too much of the same sound that the two of them had trouble figuring out who I was talking to so it is Sara from now on.

I'm so glad you found Sara thru a rescue group. Both of my dogs come from a rescue group. There are so many wonderful animals who need a loving home. I look forward to meeting Sara soon.

Oh my oh my oh my! Sara is a cutie! I just have one ???? though, Charlie...
is she going to like you better than Cami???
I just couldn't resist! Cami is a sweetheart and hopefully one of these days she'll show her appreciation or the great furr-dad you are!
Can't wait to meet the new fuzz-pup!!!

Cute, Sandy. Yes, Sara does like me better than Cami did initially. Sara is much less afraid of everything. Cami has warmed up to me a lot as you know. The only time that she won't come near me is when I have a tool or a box in my hands. Apparently something in her past terrified her about that situation.
It is possible that we will both our dogs, our son's schnauzer and our granddaughter along with us for Labor Day. I'm searching diligently now for a ring master's top hat. I think that I'm going to need it.

Charlie -
You know I just have to tease you! Cami will definitely come around, but she may not ever get over certain things. When we 'rescue' a pup, we never know what their lives were like before.
Even when we adopt a pet who has been coddled from day one (AnnaBelle and Coby for examples) - they still have their own little
"peccadilloes" or "idiosyncrasies" ...(geez, I had to look these up to spell them right!!! )...but
I think it's called PERSONALITY and apparently both of your furr-babies have that!!!
Can't wait to see the entire group at Labor Day!
Sandy

Adorable pup.....we wish you all the best with both of them.....It's great when you can get a "pal" for the pup! We started with one Papillon...now have six of them! And they are all buddies with each other.
Also a good idea to have a different sounding name.....
Our son's dog is named "Tugger"....his room-made has a dog named "Tucker".....yeah, that ones a confusing situation!
