I might also bring a ham to go with the soup. Depends on how ambitious I am.

Lightbulb Painted Churches around Schulenberg, TX

I just went with a group of people last Friday to see the painted churches around Schulenberg, TX. The Chamber of Commerce recommended a guide for our group who was amazing, as well as a descendent (Czech) of one of the men who helped with her parish church in Dubina.
Her name is Cathy Chaloupka -- "CC"

I thought that while y'all are in Bellville, you might want to take a tour of the churches, which are absolutely gorgeous. Some of the churches are locked (she has the keys), and I'm not sure if there's a fee for her services (I'm sure there is though). Also, check with the Schulenberg Chamber of Commerce and request her as a guide (maybe it's cheaper??). She was very thorough and interesting. We saw 4 churches and then had lunch at Frank's Restaurant. She said there are 70 painted churches!!!

Good luck & have fun!!

Breakfast

The Robinsons will bring cut up "healthy" fruit. Personally, I am eating bacon, bacon and more bacon.

Oh and put us down for two soups as well. If Jacque eats something else "healthier" I will eat her portion of the soup.

Amber, Put us down for a breakfast cassarole for Sat. morning and we will attend the Saturday soupfest. I had us heading for Beeville instead of Bellville--my senior moments seem to be getting closier and closier.

Jim, maybe it should read "do soup". I guess that is what I get for posting when I should be working.
