Offline on Saturday

Tomorrow (Saturday), I will be OFFLINE on the computer as we're having fiber optic lines brought in to the house. They "say" it should take several hours (11am to 3pm) to complete the installation, but then we'll have to set up the email boxes and who knows what else will be done to get us back online.

If you need to reach me, call or text me rather than email until we get back up and running again!

Sandy

I'll send you an email. With the fiber optics you should get it before they start.

We're back online! Took longer than we expected (or they expected) 11am - 5pm....but we're up and running again!

No change in personal emails or sandycreekmore@texasboomers.net email account!

Now we can celebrate!!!! After we move back one piece of heavy furniture!

pretty fast! We always had hangups with trying to stream a video on the computer or upload applications/updates from the internet. About 1/2 way through the process, it would just sit there and grind away until it timed out. Hubby just uploaded latest Apple update and it was done in 20 secs!

Problem is we live in an older home (30yr old) so all the phone lines in this area are being upgraded to fiber optic....but it comes with a price of getting the lines run where you need them to be run!

The work order was for a 2 hour installation - it took 6 hours to git 'er done!
