On The Ground At Miller Creek

A Few of us are on site tonight at Miller Creek. Had a great "mini" campfar ( you'll see what I mean when you get here) and enjoyed the really nice evening weather. Rally hall is great with the new kitchen installed. Paul has obviously been working his tail off and the park really shows it. Shared a quick beer with him tonight.

Everyone have a safe trip over tomorrow and we'll see ya'll when you get here.

I was by there yesterday and Don is right. Paul has done a lot of work and made some improvements since we were last there. He was really excited that Woodall's rated his park a 5W.

Lots of water in Millers Creek too. Boy is Roxie gonna enjoy that.

Safe travels everyone. Judy and I will relocate this morning to Millers Creek...12 miles.

Happy Memorial Day to all you Boomers. Sorry we are missing another one, but we are in Klamath, CA, like think Redwood Forest. It is almost 10 p.m. and the outside temperature is 53. I think the day time highs were in the low 60's.

Keep that camp far going Don, maybe it will warm us-uns up also.

Sure wish this park had a pool. Beautiful park as is, but pool would complete it.

Paul has plans to put in a pool - he's got to get sewer to the "overflow" sites where the Neals and others were - then he's putting in 50 amp service over across the creek where the new section is. This will be about $20-$30,000 (or more) he said. A pool is on his list hopefully before next year!

That man has made some awesome improvements to that park since he bought it. It was a DUMP in the awfulest sense of the word, but they are really working to make it into a nice place.

I told him he needs to knock out the side wall of the rally room to expand that if he continues to grow! He'd only lose 1 rv site, but the capability of handling larger groups would double!
