On the Road Again

Hey all --- just wanted to let everyone know we left Seattle Sunday for home and the ugh! 107 degree temps. Man are we gonna miss this outdoor AC we have enjoyed all summer.

Made it to Missoula MT last night and tonight we have stopped in Sheridan, WY. Probably make it to Denver tomorrow night. Still amazed at the breathtaking scenery up here in Montana and Wyoming. Kinda neat crossing over the Little Big Horn River along the way too.

Don, load up your trailer with all of the cold air you can haul and bring it on down here before you open the door again....

Well as they say Plans do change We are sitting in Denver tonight.

Ran over something just North of Cheyene and cut one of my Yokohama's which blew out. Not a whole lot of damage to the 5ver thank goodness. Also glad it didn't happen in the mountains. Got the spare on but closest Discount Tire was in Ft Collins, CO but when I got there they didn't have the size in stock but called a store in Denver who had it. So we drove on down to Denver but too late to get the tire fixed. Hope to get it exchanged and get on the road sometime tomorrow. Another one of those BUMMERS ! to just ruin your day. A couple of PBR's tonight has made things look a little rosier however.

Weather is still nice and cool especially in the evenings and mornings.

Don:

That's a bummer. If you want I could have some of this mailed to your next stop.

Sandy

They were waiting for me at Discount Tire in Littleton this morning and had it changed and back in the back of my truck in 15 minutes. what a great bunch of folks ! I'll probably not buy another tire anywhere else.

10 minute drive back to the rv park (it was a bit like Albuquerque but not nearly as bad) changed the tire, hooked up and we were on the road again by 11 AM.

We have stopped at a great KOA in Wakenney, KS tonight.

Confused with to many JC's in my life. One is enough.

If he had his name in his signature line I would not have been AS confused.

And stop piki'n me. I'm a year older this year.
