how often should you repack your wheel bearing on a 4500lb travel trailer?

Both Dexter and Alco-Kober say to inspect/ repack wheel bearings annually or at 12,000 miles whichever is first, even the ones with the zerk fitting on the axle end.

I take my 5th wheel to the shop I use in the spring. They inspect bearings, seals and brakes. They inspect roof and reseal as required and clean and lube slide rails. This is a spring package they have.
